Sri.T.N.Venkata Swamy ,Retd Addl.Commissioner, Prohibition &Excise Andhrapradhesh & Telangana states, He is M.Sc Geology from Osmania University and selected as a junior geologist in Geological Survey of India, through union public service commission Delhi. His love for uniformed service, made him join excise Department, through APPSC Group II Exams.
He worked as Excise Superintendent/District Officer in Kadapa, Kurnool, Chittoor, Anantapur, Nellore & Hyderabad City. As Deputy Commissioner he worked in Hyderabad, Warangal and Visakhapatnam Divisions. He rose to the highest post in the department i.e Additional Commissioner and also held posts of ” Director of Enforcement ” Secretary to Commissioner usually held by IPS & IAS officers only.He is a sports lover, Table tennis Champion too. His 4 children also tennis players. As a group I officers, he moved throughout Andhra Pradesh and retired as a highest positioned officer with an excellent reputation.
He is a trained pilot. (NCC-Airwings).He had the privilege of being chosen to head the districts of 3 chief Ministers from 1994 to 2003. He brought many laurels to the Department and Completed 35 Years of Service with flying colors. He monitored “Sakalajanula Samme” in the Department, after the successful division of state after division of Andhra Pradesh state he retired as 1st Additional Commissioner of Telangana State.
His vision & Perseverance has immensely contributed to the growth of this Organization.

CHOICE BASED CREDIT SYSTEM (CBCS) AT ISO DEGREE COLLEGE
OU has introduced the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) for all the undergraduate courses from the academic year 2016-17. The CBCS pattern enhances the academic standards quality in Higher education by improving the Teaching-Learning process, Examination-Evaluation systems, and Governance. As per the UGC guidelines, the College offers foundation courses and elective courses, apart from Core courses (Optional subjects) in all the UG Programmes (B.Com./B.B.A/B.A.). The college has adopted the Absolute grading system in which the marks are converted to grades based on the predetermined class intervals.
The salient features of CBCS pattern at ISO Degree College are:
(i) In the I and II Semesters of all the Programmes, Ability Enhancement Compulsory Courses (AECC) offered are a) Environmental Science and b) Morals Values & Ethics.
(ii) In Semester III a generic elective with a combination of multi-disciplines is offered under Skill Enhancement Course (SEC). The course consists of four units Communicative Business Skills, e-banking, Telangana History and Health & Wellness.
(iii) In Semester IV an Open elective may be chosen from the unrelated discipline, under Skill Enhancement Course (SEC). In Interdisciplinary skill course, a science student needs to select any one of the Arts/Social Sciences/ Commerce courses and vice-versa from the list of the courses offered.
(iv) In Semester V the Discipline Specific Elective (DSC) is offered in which the student may choose either of the Core subject electives E1/ E2 as part of Paper –VI of all the courses.
(v) In Semester V an Open elective may be chosen from the Language pool, under Skill Enhancement Course (SEC).
(vi) In Semester VI a generic elective ‘Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude’ is offered, under Skill Enhancement Course (SEC).

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT, EXAMINATION AND PROMOTION RULES
The college has a Semester System which operates as follows:
The college follows a 15 week Semester System. An almanac for the entire year is prepared at the commencement of I, III and V semesters. Every month respective departments submit attendance to the Academic Coordinator. The Academic Coordinator computes this data and displays it by the 10th of every month. The respective departments also display the same. Any anomaly has to be corrected during that month. The students are cautioned about the shortage of attendance. The College Administration will not entertain any dispute at the end of the semester about discrepancy in attendance of previous months. At the end of each semester, the cumulative percentage of attendance is calculated and the student is issued a hall-ticket for the ensuing examination only if he / she has 75% is all subjects. In case the students fail to obtain 75% attendance, waiver to an extent of 10% on MEDICAL GROUNDS is permitted based on the submission of a medical certificate issued by a competent authority. Candidates who fail to obtain the required percentage of attendance will be detained and will not be promoted to the next semester
1.with 75% attendance both in theory and practical courses (wherever applicable) is mandatory for candidates to be eligible to appear for the semester examination. All students who represent the college in Inter-collegiate, Inter-varsity, National and International competitions are eligible for attendance exemption of 8 weeks per year; that is, 4 weeks per semester or the period of the competition whichever is less.
2.Examinations for I, III and V semesters are held in November each year after 15 weeks of instruction. There are no detentions at the end of I, III and V Semesters. However, they have to register for examinations.
3. Examinations for II, IV & VI semesters are held in March-April each year after 15 weeks of instruction. There is a detention system at the end of II and IV semesters.
4.Registration for Examination: All students undergoing regular courses of study have to register for every semester exam by paying the requisite exam fee, filling the examination form & obtaining the hall ticket before appearing for the said exam.
5.(a) At the end of II semester candidates who do not have more than 50% backlog papers of the I and II Semesters together will be promoted to III Semester.
(b) At the end of IV Semester candidates who do not have more than 25% backlog papers in all, from I to IV semesters together, will be promoted to V Semester.
(c) Backlogs for all the semesters will be conducted only in the even semesters.
6.A candidate’s promotion to subsequent semesters is subject to regular attendance (75%), payment of fee (including exam fee), and good conduct.
7.Any student failing to clear dues such as college fees, Examination fee etc., shall not be
eligible for promotion. Even if a student is eligible for any kind of scholarship, he/she has to clear all the above dues by the time he/she appears for the examinations of that academic year.
8.Every student is required to complete his/her course of study within 5 years from the date of admission, after which he/she will not be permitted for any more examinations. The date of admission of students admitted on transfer from other institutions will be notionally treated on par with his/her batchmates.
9.Award of Grades: For the award of grades in Part-I / Part-II, it will be necessary for a student to pass all the papers by the end of IV / VI Semesters.
- Improvement and Backlogs :
A student who wishes to improve his/her result is entitled to repeat the examination in any paper provided he/she has cleared all the papers (in ONE ATTEMPT only) relating to the relevant semester. No student with a backlog is permitted to appear for improvement examination for the relevant semester. Improvement is permitted only in the next semester examination.
11.MEDIUM OF EXAMINATIONS: STUDENTS ADMITTED TO A PARTICULAR MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION HAVE TO APPEAR FOR THE EXAMINATIONS IN THE SAME MEDIUM. IF FOR ANY REASON THEY WRITE THE EXAMINATION IN ANOTHER MEDIUM, THEIR SCRIPTS WILL NOT BE EVALUATED.
12. Without 75% of attendance in lectures and practical’s students will not be entitled to
(a) Appear for the examination
(b) Claim any scholarship.
(c) Be promoted to the next semester.
13. Students who discontinue their study at this College but wish to seek admission again to I Semester with/without a change of faculty or combination, need to apply again and will be considered for admission only on merit (based on their intermediate marks) along with other fresh applicants.

The fees mentioned above are also applicable to all the SC/ST/BC/ BC(E) students. But the student whose parent’s/ guardian’s income is less than Rs.1,50,000/- (BC,OBC,BC(E),EBC) and Rs. 2,00,000/- for SC, ST, per annum have to pay a nominal fee of Rs.200/-(non-refundable) at the time of admission to secure a seat. However these students are instructed to apply for scholarship, reimbursement of tuition fee by the Social Welfare/Tribal Welfare/Backward Classes & Minority Welfare Department through “ONLINE” on the website http://epasswebsite.cgg.gov.in and fill up the relevant columns through “ONLINE” submission only. The printed copy of “online” scholarship form along with the enclosures has to be submitted in the Scholarship Section of the College without fail. Otherwise, they have to pay Tuition fee to the college before the commencement of First-semester examination. As well as if the scholarships are not sanctioned by the government, the tuition fee has to be paid by the students. It is compulsory to apply for a scholarship through “ONLINE” particularly those who claimed the exemption from payment of Tuition fees at the time of admission. The following certificates are to be enclosed along with the printout copy of online scholarship form and submit at the scholarship section of the college:
